Discovering Your True Self and Purpose with Paramahamsa Vishwananda
The Quest for Meaning
At a certain point, those who are sincerely attracted to living a more meaningful life inevitably ask the questions, ‘Who am I?’ and ‘What am I here for?’ Life has a way of leading us from lesson to lesson, granting experiences which may help clarify those answers. But what if there was someone who could brilliantly amplify those learning experiences and accelerate your journey of discovery in ways you could never do on your own? Someone who could help you fulfill the ultimate purpose of your human existence: God-realisation?
“Outside satisfaction is easy, but spirituality is about having inner satisfaction. So what happens when you are sincere in searching? The Divine guides you to the Feet of your master.” – Paramahamsa Vishwananda
How Will I Recognize My Master?
Many people ask how they can recognize their master. When new people come to ask if He is their guru, Paramahamsa Vishwananda often asks them, “What do you feel?” He won’t ask, “What do you think?” because He knows you are thinking a lot of things. So, He asks you to feel what is in your heart. He also tells us to trust our feeling, as our feeling in the presence of the master is not wrong. Away from the master, we can doubt, but in the presence of the master, our heart reveals itself.
“When you meet your master, when you meet your guru, it’s not in this life that you (first) met your guru. It’s not just to say, ‘Okay, I like this guru, how he is dressed or how he is talking, or how he is acting, whatever.’ No, it’s this inner recognition, and once you meet your guru, you have this inner satisfaction that ‘I am on the right way.’ So there will be no question whether ‘Am I right or wrong?’ Because you will know that you are right.” – Paramahamsa Vishwananda
Guru vs Satguru
There are many teachers (gurus) who can point you in a specific direction, but only a satguru can deliver you to the ultimate destination. Only a satguru can grace you with God-realisation.
“Satguru is full of compassion. He comes down from the supreme abode to free all from the clutches of Maya.” – Paramahamsa Vishwananda
The satguru is considered to be a complete manifestation of the Divine who has come to guide humanity towards the supreme goal. It is incredibly rare to encounter such a being. Paramahamsa Vishwananda is a satguru – the Supreme Reality embodied.
“Arjuna, whenever there is a decline in dharma (righteousness), and an increase of adharma (unrighteousness), it is then that I manifest Myself. For the protection of the good, for the destruction of the wicked, and to establish dharma, I incarnate Myself from age to age.” – Bhagavad Gita Essentials: Chapter 4, verses 7-8
Trend or Treasure Hunting
In a world where yoga, meditation, and spirituality have become fashionable trends, Paramahamsa Vishwananda stands out as a real Master for those who are ready and willing to devote themselves to seeking the ultimate treasure of life. Whether you are new to spirituality, looking for the most credible source, or whether you’ve already been on the journey for a long time and you are longing to finally settle into a genuine path leading to the highest goal – Paramahamsa Vishwananda and His Bhakti Marga (path of devotion) may be the opportunity you’ve been praying for.
Are You Ready?
“The spiritual science, the science of the soul, the science of God, is given by the satguru.” – Paramahamsa Vishwananda
Paramahamsa Vishwananda calls upon those who are truly ready to commit to a radically authentic adventure of getting to know one’s true Self and one’s relationship with God. He is actually the one looking for us! And when He sees we are ready, life mystically arranges itself to bring us to Him. Omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent, He is beyond time and space, capable of perfectly guiding each unique soul and gracing them with the opportunity to build a personal loving relationship with God.
“When a deep longing to achieve something greater than just this mundane life awakens inside the heart, and when one is fully ready with humility, the Master will give the Brahma Jyaan, the knowledge of the Self, to the disciple and guide them.” – Shreemad Bhagavad Gita: The Song of Love, Paramahamsa Vishwananda’s commentary
Do You Feel It?
Paramahamsa Vishwananda’s mission is to ‘open the hearts of mankind’. It is the way to Love. If you are reading this, you most likely felt this…this spark… this magnetism to dive into the mystery of this call within your heart. This Love is not a Love limited by condition nor expectation, but a Love which is Divine.
Paramahamsa Vishwananda often says that Love is beyond comprehension. Love is not something you can manage or manipulate. It also isn’t something you can do…It is just one’s natural state. But due to so many variables in the material world, this Love often does not flow naturally.
“Be it in life, relationship, or work — there’s always this mindset of ‘How can I control something? I am in power. I am in control!’ But when this Prema (Divine Love) awakens, you’re faced with an unknown reality beyond your capacity to handle. You want to control it, but you can’t. Because you’re controlled by IT. And this is where the challenge is.” – Paramahamsa Vishwananda
Are You Up to the Challenge?
While catching even just one glimpse of the Divine Love Paramahamsa Vishwananda radiates is enough to propel us into initiation, it is important to take the dedication this path requires into serious consideration.
Paramahamsa Vishwananda brings us back into familiarity and harmony with this Divine Love, but that requires the bravery to confront and work through our ego’s many fears, insecurities, and judgments. Paramahamsa Vishwananda is here to challenge our minds, which demands our effort. While He can perform miracles, is infinitely merciful, and is capable of answering any prayer, passively waiting for change does not open any doors on this path.
True devotees are eager and willing to transform, and they consistently strive to put their master’s teachings into practice. They are well aware that this is the price they must pay in order to be made ready to receive the ultimate gift of the satguru’s grace.
Living Life as a Bhakta
If the Lord is your goal, it is of great importance to deeply reflect upon the question: ‘Am I ready to live the life of a bhakta?’
A bhakta is a lover of the Lord. A bhakta is someone who is wholeheartedly committed to their spiritual path. Bhaktas always put forth their best effort to remain single-minded in their aim of attaining the Lotus Feet of the Lord.
“A Loving relationship with God is a rare diamond. It is a rare alchemy; it is a kind of magic.” – Paramahamsa Vishwananda
For those who take this courageous step, no matter what occurs in their journey, each experience becomes a communion with the satguru. The more they tune into that flow, the more His grace is revealed everywhere. The more they honor the path, the more that path reveals its mysterious and glorious wonder. In this way, bhaktas become a living miraculous testament of God’s love.
There is no better way to bear witness to this miracle than to listen to the thousands of stories of Paramahamsa Vishwananda’s devotees. Each one clearly offers proof of His Divinity, again and again.
It is truly, so very difficult to put into words this infinite, eternal, and miraculous Love – the Love that YOU are! If you are feeling the call, it is time to dive in.
“If you really want to find happiness, dig into your path, go deeper in your path, and you will find happiness. You will find what you are looking for, you will find that contentment.” – Paramahamsa Vishwananda
